This therapy group provides teen girls with a safe and supportive environment to discuss the anxiety they may be experiencing in the world around them. The group focuses on helping participants identify the root causes of their anxiety, whether it’s linked to social expectations, academic pressures, or internalized fears about their appearance or abilities. Using evidence-based clinical tools like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and grounding exercises, teens are equipped with practical skills to manage anxiety, challenge negative thoughts, and foster self-compassion. The group provides a space for them to explore these challenges, build confidence, and develop healthier ways to cope with the pressures they face in both real life and online spaces.

This group is led by Elizabeth Coleman, LPN, and Sarah Jane Tallakson, ALC.
