- Brandon Mallette Rate: $125.00 per 50-minute session

- Lori Barstow White Rate: $100.00 per 50-minute session
- Matt Kirkpatrick: $75 per 50-minute session
- *Susanna Brown: $145 per 50-minute session
- Group Session – Vary depending on group
- Sliding scale fees are available (application required; minimum fee is $75).

Insurance
Fortify Christian Counseling, LLC services vary according to the counselor. We accept BCBS-AL contracts with co-pays payable at the time of your visit. All other clients are considered private pay, and the full fee is due at the close of the session. Through the Simple Practice client portal, you may securely save a debit or credit card for convenient online payments.
Fortify Christian Counseling, LLC will bill BCBS-AL for you directly. However, some of the counseling services provided by our Licensed Professional Counselors may be covered as part of your in-network insurance benefits. We will verify your insurance and determine your coverage and copay before your session. Then you must be prepared to pay the copay and other costs that BCBS does not cover.
If you use a different insurance plan, we can provide you with a monthly superbill to file with your insurance provider. However, the cost for our services will be due at the end of each session. Then, your provider will reimburse you.
We’d recommend asking these questions of your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits as part of out-of-network benefits?
- Do they cover non-clinical pastoral counselors as part of out-of-network benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it, and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit the number of sessions per calendar year? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician for services to be covered?
- Do I need to submit anything other than a superbill from my mental health provider?
Cancellation Policy
If you cannot attend a session, please cancel at least 48 hours beforehand. Otherwise, you may be charged the full rate. Insurance companies do not cover missed sessions, so the client is responsible for late cancellation fees.
