Nicki Harris is providing biblical counseling for women and premarital couples under supervision by Dr. Jerra Dooley. She is currently completing a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Biblical Counseling through Liberty University. With more than 30 years of professional experience as a licensed occupational therapist and certified hand therapist, Nicki brings a clinically informed, compassionate, and holistic perspective to her non-licensed pastoral counseling work.
Nicki offers individual counseling for women seeking support through life transitions, relational challenges, emotional healing, and spiritual growth. Nicki also provides premarital counseling for couples who desire to establish strong, Christ-centered foundations for marriage. Nicki’s approach integrates biblical truth, practical wisdom, and emotional insight, shaped by decades of healthcare practice and ministry involvement. Her passion is to create a safe, respectful environment where women and couples can grow in clarity, connection, and faith.
Nicki and her husband of thirty years, Brian, are both Certified Marriage Mediators and SYMBIS facilitators who actively serve in their church’s marriage ministry. Together, they teach a marriage class and walk closely with couples across various seasons of life. With the couple’s prior written authorization, Brian may be invited to participate in sessions in a limited, supportive capacity. Nicki remains the responsible clinician and ensures strict adherence to HIPAA confidentiality requirements.
Nicki and her husband are the proud parents of two adult daughters and sons-in-law and are joyfully embracing life as grandparents following the birth of their first grandchild in 2025.
Session Rate:
Matt’s fee for a 50-minute counseling session is $75.

Insurance does not apply to non-licensed pastoral/biblical counseling services.
Note: Nicki Harris is enrolled in a master’s-level pastoral counseling internship at Liberty University. She is a licensed and ordained minister and practices pastoral/biblical counseling under the clergy exception outlined in Alabama Code § 34-8A-3. She does not provide clinical mental health counseling or psychotherapy and is not licensed or seeking licensure as a professional counselor.
