Susanna is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Board-Certified Professional Counselor with the Board of Christian Professional and Pastoral Counselors. She is also a Biblical Counseling Coalition Partner. She is a certified PREPARE/ENRICH assessment facilitator for premarital and marital counseling. She has completed the Fundamentals Training Course with the Association of Certified Biblical Counselors.
Grounded in God’s Word, Susanna Brown connects others with help and hope found in the person and work of Jesus Christ. At Fortify, Susanna provides clinically informed, Biblical counseling related to a variety of topics including fear, anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, burnout, marriage, parenting, and concerns related to adoption, foster care, attachment, and disability.
Susanna earned a Master of Social Work from The University of Alabama in 2006 and a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Auburn University in 2005. Her experience in the field of social work includes child and family therapy as well as child welfare and adoption work. Susanna has been married to David for nineteen years. She loves her role supporting him in ministry in the local church as well as parenting and homeschooling their five children.
Susanna is currently accepting new clients. The rate is $145/50-minute counseling session. Superbills are available if you would like to submit a claim with your insurer for reimbursement.
